How do you apply eyeshadow so that it doesn't sweat off?

I like wearing eye shadow, but it gets really hot where I work and by the time my shift is over, all the eye shadow moves to the creases in my eye and it just looks really ridiculous. Anybody know any tricks to get it to all stay in plac and look nice all day?
